Dear Daniel: Ecstatic for EPEs

“Dear, Daniel,

I know that EPE season is coming up. Is there anything we can do to prepare or try to get a better grade?

Ecstatic for EPEs”

The easiest way to help yourself is following policy/procedure at all times and filling out your monthly report each month so we can keep a record of what/when/why/how of your progress. We’ll also be looking at customer comment forms and your overall performance of the year, including sick leave and unscheduled vacation.

To make sure your Collection Maintenance, Routine Job Duties and Title Pages/Call Slips are higher, make sure you fill out the forms we've provided so you can get credit. Nothing is worse than shelving 40 or 50 trucks a month and then not having one single shelving slip. Also, make sure you put your initials in the note field of your email when deleting items (See Dear, Daniel: Discard Discord), noting the items that you've traced after completing Title Pages, the forms for your OnSearch Lists, your shelfreading slips, which will all count toward Collection Maintenance. Also filling out these forms will raise your written communication skills.

My final thought on the matter is to take your review into your own hands by making sure we're aware of the work that you're doing so you can get credit for it.
